Sorcerer Leveling Guide ( elite kiting )

Hey guys n gals,

i just wanted to put together a good leveling guide based on how sorcerers (and some other classes) who can solo elites (i hate questing, and want the best exp for my time spent which is in most cases = elites!), and where they are, i realise there is probably a few floating around, but i just wanted to make my own, and yes, i know im a noob, and i know this guide isnt the most in-depth, but its aimed for players who dont need to be spoon fed.

so basically, im lvl 30 now, so as im leveling ill update this (if you would like to add things, please do, it would help me put together a more comprehensive guide). but from what i can gather so far:

Level 1 to 17/18 - Generally not too hard, and can be done from quests. (took me about 3/4 sessions few hours each time)



Level 18 to 22/23 - Grinding Elites at the Cantas coast, up the hill at the Tursin's, the few mobs there, careful of the scouts as they throw weapons. so only stick to the melee's. (double exp weekend + exp item did it in 2 sessions, about 3-5 hours all up).

Level 23 to 25 - your best bet is to just do a few of the campaign quests in Elthen, and some ones that pay off really well, (there is some that are very close, and one that teleports you, and you just have to teleport back for a good reward) i wouldnt focus too much on the smaller ones, but the gathering ones if you have your skill high enough are great and found right at the fortress.(you'll have to do a flying quest which is pretty fun once you hit 25 to get entry to the abyss) (this was the longest grind for me and i hated it so much (i know it will get worse later in the game) it took me about....3 hours per level)



Level 25 to 29 - Go to the Abyss, the entrance is below Elthen, under the platform that raises. do all the starter quests, in the town (you'll have to watch like a million videos) and gain access to Training Grounds (TG) (each TG run should get you about half a level - you do the math, thats only 6 times you need to run it, takes just over 20 mins if you have a solid group, so you can see why i like TG so much )



(Training grounds - Teminon Landing - on same island, has a few miners around it, impossible to miss)


TG is a great exp gain, all you need is a group, and it should take you up to level 28 easily, the trick is to stop right before you hit 29, and do it again for the last time. (TG has a lockout of 17hours and level 28 being the highest, after you defeat the end boss) its that or die a hundred times and before you hit 29 you should have enough death exp to get you closer to 30 (costs alot).

Level 29 to 31 - Elites in Elthen, Im not sure if there are more Elites in Elthen, however i only know of the ones at Kaidan Mine (if you know of more, map/loc and let me know), which you can normally kite reasonably easily from the front gate with a good respawn rate (careful of asmos - their entrance is close to the gate). shouldnt be too hard, maybe 2-3 hours per level? estimates of course)

This can take you up to lvl 32/33 i believe, which should get you access to the next instance/ set of elites. (more info to come)

Any information anyone would like to add from here on, would be appreciated. Ill add to the guide as i go along, but i dont know where the next set of elites are, and im told Fire temple (next and only instance? not sure, my instance box in game says there is 4 or so at lvl 30, so maybe they are just parts of FT?) is not great for exp or drops, so ill see how the elites turn out, but if someone wants to let me know, ill put it in. also all times are estimates, somedays i play harder, some others i like to roam and goof around.
