The Bioware take on Star Wars, titled, Knights of the old republic is hosting another free weekend. For no charge you can either try the game for the first time or continue your character and get a glimse of the new content Bioware added recently. More info on their own homepage.
 
If you are looking for something completely different, theres a beta of the upcoming horror/sci fi/mystery mmo from Norwegian developer Funcom. It promises different gameplay mechanics, classless play and a wellwritten story set in a modern world. The beta will run from friday evening untill sunday at midnight.
Keys are still to be found around the net so get out there and search some more.

This reserving of names is only for players of the first guild wars game and you must have logged in atleast once since January 1st 2012. If thats the case, then the names of you old characters are reserved for you on Arenanets servers.
 
You will be able to choose the name when the headstart begins.

This may be the truth as its been reportet earlier from different sources that the game would hit the streets during this summer. We beg the gaming gods that this turns out to be the truth and also hope that ArenaNet fixes some of the more annoying bugs before release. "Im looking at you, annoying-overflow-server-not-beeing-able-to-do-a proper-party-bug!"

so i can run Crysis 2, in ultra with 4x the Frames i got in Gw2. A little ironic, but i hope the next Test is going to be GPU based

Master of illusion and control, the Mesmer class perfectly fits the promises made earlier this year by ArenaNet that the final class revealed for Guild Wars 2 would be a complicated one. It's certainly not the sort of character class for folks that want to show off impressive acrobatics, flashy spells, or big damage numbers. No, the Mesmer is all about finesse, and achieving true mastery of the class requires a true MMO maestro.
